Banksy Does Disney
The guerilla artist known as Banksy has been at work again. I’ll let the Beeb tell you in their own words:
A life-size replica of a Guantanamo Bay detainee has been placed in Disneyland by “guerrilla artist” Banksy … it is understood to have remained in place for 90 minutes before the ride was closed down and the figure removed.BBC News
I’m not entirely sure why this gets filed as “entertainment” by Auntie Beeb — presumably because he’s a graffiti artist but this has got to be as much political protest as anything else …
Although I hadn’t heard about his Paris Hilton special before either:
