Heralding Natural Disaster: Again

Hmm. It appears that after initially predicting earthquakes and volcanic eruptions — which there obviously were, my crack about the next one being weather related came true again, what with the tornados in the US.

Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymoreDorothy

Okay then, I’m going to keep making natural disaster predictions until either I get one wrong or I personally get classified as a WMD. This time, I predict … flooding. I had had a sneaky feeling for a plague of locusts, but I think that was probably just being silly…

Lol, WordPress allows post- and pre-dating so I predict your accuracy of predictions will be 100% if you use these features :D

  2. JackP responds:

Okay, this is actually starting to freak me out now. There was potentially record-level flooding on the Missouri.

Nonetheless, I’m going to stick with it. That’s four natural disasters correctly predicted in a row. This time, I’m going back for another earthquake.

  3. Marcel Cairo responds:

    Jack,

Would you mind not wreaking any further havoc on our poor country. Couldn’t you turn your catostrophic ire on a country more deserving of your demonic, Earth-altering powers…. ummmm… like France or Serbia. :-)

  4. Gill responds:

I’m still waiting for my lottery prediction. :-)

  5. JackP responds:

@Gill: Hah. If I could predict lottery numbers, do you not think I’d be on my luxury yacht right now?

@Marcel: sorry, I wasn’t meaning to pick on anyone. It just worked out that way. Besides, there’s been bonus extra flooding since elsewhere so it looks like my sequence has been broken. Bang goes the plague of locusts theory, then…!
