I got married 5 years ago today. As did my wife, coincidentally.

We got married at a place called Crathorne Hall which is a beautiful hotel in North Yorkshire. If you’re looking for a venue to get married, I can recommend it.

Particularly if they still do fireworks: we paid for them to put on fireworks as part of the evening show and it was just fantastic, although the day itself seemed to whizzzz past in a blur. And then we went on holiday to Corfu, which was again just wonderful; spending a fortnight alone together in relaxing tranquility.

And now we’ve got two kids which, lovely though they are, mean “relaxing tranquility” is something that only happens to other people. That’s it for today, I’m afraid. No jokes, no rants, I just wanted to mark the occassion..
