33rd Newcastle Beer Festival

If you want me, I’ll be here, attending this from about … um … now.
Obviously this is last year’s logo, but I will of course be picking up a new souvenir glass. Anyone wishing to come along, particularly if they would also like to buy me a drink (well, it is my birthday soon), is more than welcome.
However, please note that while names are not disclosed (in order to protect the guilty), any and all subjects of conversation may be noted for the continuing tradition of What Do Men Talk About In Pubs (see previous entries for 2006, 2007 and 2008).

Are you telling me, that for the first time in 16 months, I’m going to be arriving in Newcastle on Easter Saturday to visit family – and I’m gonna miss this!! Damn…mind you, saves me the price of buying you a pint!!

I have never been to a beer festival (never lived) but I am hopeful of going to the next one, I think my partners daughter is coming to visit that weekend and I have a free ticket do do what I want, whoohoo.
