considering I work from home more than 80% of the time, I can’t exactly blame them for letting me know over the phone. In many ways, it’s also better to find out when I’m at home than in a different city!

that’s always a possibility – I’ve done some speaking before, and if I’ve got enough time to prep, I’m happy I can do it very well – but the problem with that is that my experience of ‘em tends to be expenses+publicity, rather than cash.

That’s not to say I’d be afraid of speaking, mind you – it’s always fun anyway
