The Ballad Of Bilbo Baggins

As sung by Leonard Nimoy.

Yes, that Leonard Nimoy. No, I’m not making it up. No, I haven’t taken anything. Look, if you don’t believe me, go and take a look for yourself over at Bloody Hell, It’s a Book Barrage.

But if you find yourself singing “Bilbo Baggins, the bravest little hobbit of them all”, you only have yourself to blame.

If Leonard Nimoy singing is a surprise to you then there are even more shocking recordings out there by William Shatner, including his unusual version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

Although I haven’t yet searched for this one on YouTube…

Yeah, but I actually quite enjoyed the Bilbo Baggins one (although it was somewhat odd).

I’ve seen Shatner’s “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds” before (it is on YouTube), and I think “endured” is a better term for that one…

Many refuse to share my love of Shatner. So be it.
