If it’s pink and meaty…

…it must be a diseased tongue, presumably. It’s time to see what spam has been washed into my filters recently.

Learn to tipe online

Hmm. My “tiping” may not be great (I’m a six finger, one thumb typist, although my typing speed is better than most non-trained people) but I reckon my spelling is ahead. Alternatively, if that’s a typo then it doesn’t exactly bode well for the course…

Tongue disease picture

Now I can have a certain understanding why certain pictures advertised (the ones describing young ladies sans clothing, for example) might well attract people to look at them, but who would want to look at a diseased tongue? I’m sure medical students and doctors have more, well, official places to look…

buy red courgette

Now I don’t know whether this is supposedly something to do with food colouring and, well, food, but given the spellings earlier, I have an entertaining mental image of them getting ‘corvette’ and ‘courgette’. I’d love to have heard Prince singing about his ‘little red courgette’…

Hello. People fail forward to success. I am from Tonga and learning to write in English, give please true…

*sigh*. It’s my own fault, really. I said at least this was a new type of spam and it wasn’t quite as annoying because of its newness. Sadly, the newness has now worn off…

Good morning. For the night was not impartial. No, the night loved some more than others, served some more than others. Help me! Can not find sites on the: Drug information and side effects for synthroid levothyroxine…

Um… well, you seemed to have found one site at least. But since you’ve asked nicely, here’s what Wikipedia has to say about the adverse effects. I have to say that I don’t know what the drug is for, but I don’t like the sound of the side effects…

And that is the newest spam form I’ve encountered, taking the format “rambling opening line which has nothing to do with the rest of it”, “request for help”, “mention of synthroid”, “link to spammers site”.

Come on. Let’s have something original. At least come up with something that I can’t manually identify as spam simply from the opening half a dozen words… although I guess that’s the problem with automated spam, isn’t it?
